Well I've been a Carpathian lover, then a werewolf lover, and now a Dragon lover. An amazing journey into fantasy land and a fun ride.
I loved this book, simply beautiful. Other than a few parts that made me uncomfortable namely the blatant preference/fetishism present in the work. (Only in one or two parts however) I really enjoyed the work.
Mind you I'm a black female.
I like the story it just seemed everything happened really quickly. Their attraction and the battle happened very quickly. I'd like to read more. Not a bad read just possibly too short.
Nice story to continue the series, but please try to make your heroines smarter. This heroine's stupidity ("I'll fight the serpents (with the barbed penises myself without the assistance of the Paladin dragon warriors") almost made me not complete the book!
I loved this book! The plot was inspired. The characters are well drawn and the reader is sucked in from the first page. Ordered the rest of the series after page three. The book lost a star because of serious need for editing. Does not distract from the story but irritating in such a good story.
There's something about Interracial paranormal that gets my motors running! It's enhanced ten fold when there are dragon shifters involved. I love the world that Dahlia Rose has created, a world where women are bad ass and take no freaking prisoners and aren't all whiney and "woe is me." I don't want to get into too many deet's about the book, however, I can say that I finished it in one go (like the rest of her books) and was not disappointed. Four Stars is damn near perfect in my eyes and I'm SUPER picky.
This is the 3rd Dragon themed boook with thsame premise but ties together rather well. I love how sassy and fun they are together. The author depicts the land of these dragon shifters as guardians of humans and are battling against a nasty enemy that is trying to use human women to bread their serpent mutations but will not survive the birth. This book will leave you hanging on to find out what the next step is and which Palidin warrior will fall in love next. What I appreciate in all of these stories is that there is not a lot of denial in the attraction and the falling in love. She does make him wait which I find absolutely refreshing.
